The sentences are then output via a differential NMEA 0183 port for direct connection to a chartplotter, or any other device with an RS232, RS422 or NMEA 0183 port.

The 'SeaYak' ST1 to NMEA 0183 Bi-Directional WiFi Bridge connects to your SeaTalk1 network and converts all the data into NMEA 0183 sentences and broadcasts them over WiFi to your computer, tablet or phone. It can also receive NMEA 0183 data back from your navigation software and convert it into SeaTalk1. This allows you to control your autopilot from your navigation software for example. You can also use any device with a web browser as an autopilot remote control.

With this unit you can combine data from your SeaTalk1 network and NMEA 0183 data and send it all to your navigation software, and receive data back form your WiFi device and fed back to your SeaTalk1 network and NMEA 0183 device. It can simultaneously convert the wired SeaTalk1 and NMEA 0183 data back and forth.
